Beginning Sunday, July 23 at 7 AM, ITS will begin a major upgrade to the College’s Local Area Network, which is anticipated to be completed by 7 p.m. During this window, all network services will be impacted, including: Internet, telephone, wired and wireless networks, VPN, access to all servers and services, building automation, laundry, card systems, point of sale systems, etc. New sign-ins to College-based cloud services (e.g. Office 365, Canvas, and Zoom) will also be unavailable, but existing sessions will remain available. Cable TV services not related to Xfinity on campus, and door access control will be available.

Services will be restored in a priority order starting with the Internet, telephone, and servers, which are anticipated to be completed by mid-afternoon. These will be followed by individual building services. Services may appear to be online early in the upgrade window but may be intermittently unavailable as systems are tested.
